First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk is continuing to host NEST guests for the remainder of the winter season. As they need help to do so and thanks to your financial generosity we have the resources, we are going to take on providing another week of meals from March 3-9.
As we did in December, we will be preparing the meals in their kitchen. We are looking for volunteers to help with the meal preparation. You would be working a small team of 5 to 6 people under the direction of “our chef“ Michael Toepper. (There is no direct interaction with the guests.) The shift runs from 2-6 p.m. If would like to volunteer or want more information about what it entails, please contact either Judy or Kevin St. George at 757 549-0938 or email@example.com.
First Presbyterian also has an ongoing need for people to work directly with the guests. If you can help in this way, you can see the list of days, times, and functions where they need help via the First Presbyterian website (fpcnorfolk.org) and then sign up there.
Your NEST coordinators thank you all for your ongoing support of NEST!
